![]() Removing/Covering over annotation on a graphic.
![]() | ![]() |
| Suppose you find a graphic with writing on it that you don't want there, what do you do? In the above example, my name is NOT Gilda, so I could just crop it off. Now that the dreaded Gilda is gone.. what if I want that 'nobody's purrfect' gone? well.... | |
![]() I can use a background gif, and at Composite, I can comp the background over the writing. This works really well when there is a lot of writing, or room to comp the gif on. Make the background gif the same color as the background of the gif you want to cover. | ![]() You can use annotation to cover words up too. You will make the _undercolor_ box color the same as your background color, and the font color the same as the background color. This method works well when you have to precision cover-up. If you have trouble seeing where the cover-up is, try using a color font to check where the box is, then just back key to change the color of the font. |
![]() I removed the 'nobody's purrfect' and then comped the kitty over my own name. I don't have to be Gilda, and now I can be purrrrfect if I wanna be!
