How to make Frosted Words at ImageMagick
    1. take a background (a colored one, I used black for this example) **just found out that a Transparent gif DOES NOT work** and put it in then resize to the size you want for putting your words on.

  • 2. Go to Annotate, and type in your words, set your parameters and scroll down to:

  • 3. put your color choice in the _Font (Fill) Color_ AND _the Stroke color_, then erase the _1_ (one) that is in the _Stroke Width_ slot and type in a _5_ (five) change the _Density_ to 90 or 95, choose your _font_ and _point size_ then click the annotate button

  • 4. Now that your words are there, go to _EFFECTS_ and erase what is in the parameter slot and type in a number (I used 5) and choose _SPREAD_, click the effects button. you will see the words 'spread out'

  • 5. now click the EFFECTS _TAB_ again, erase the 5 and put in numbers like this _3x3_ (what I used) and click the _BLUR_ light button, click the effects button again, and the words will be blurred nicely

  • 6. go back to Annotate, erase the color name in the Stroke color slot and type in _ none _, then change the Font (Fill) color choice or keep the same color if you prefer, I changed mine to 'linen' then erase the 5 in the Stroke Width slot and type a 1 (one) in it again. click the annotate button, and voila` there are your Frosted Words!
