Turn This

Into This
  • 1. take your image to ImageMagick and put the url in the 'front door', next page you will see your image.

  • 2. below the image is the Paint Option, this is where you transparify your image, put these things in the proper slots.

Fuzz

10000 or
15000 or
20000

  • 3. the numbers in the _Fuzz_ box will vary, depending on how much of the background color that you want to transparify is in the image itself, with these roses, there was no white in the image, so I used a fuzz number of _15000_ (fifteen thousand) usually, that number takes the background color off quite well. If there is a lot of the background color in the picture, start with _10000_ (ten thousand) and see how that works. The highest I have went is _20000_

  • 4. now that you have your proper words in the slots, and the proper things chosen in the drop menus, put the cursor box around the image and _click_ your return key.. a big arrow will come onto your image, using your arrow keys, direct the arrow tip point to the color you want _gone_ and click the return key again.

  • 5. now you will see your image with that background color gone, you can now go to _output_ or trim off the excess background at __Transform Tab__ at the transform tab, make sure the _trim_ red light button is on, and then click the grey transform button, this will cut off the excess background around your image. If you choose to go to Out-put, make your graphic a  gif  because jpg's can not be transparent. If this is a non-animated image, choose the _single file_ light button and out put as usual. Next page, save the image to your own server.
