Santa Claus Is Comin' On A Trike (Harve Bishop)

Santa Claus is comin' on a trike,
To bring us all our gifts on Christmas night;
The reindeers wouldn't go, 'cause we didn't get no snow,
So Santa Claus is comin' on a trike.

He asked Dick Nolan for Aunt Martha's sheep,
Old Dick said he gave it to the RCMP;
And to take her back again just wouldn't be right,
So Santa Claus is comin' on a trike.

Instead of reindeers, you'll see Santa's head,
And you'll hear the bells a-ringin' on big red;
He asked me if I'd loan him my old bike,
But I told him he'd be safer on a trike.

When Christmas comes around again next year,
If we get lots of snow he'll be ridin' his reindeer;
You'll see him on your rooftop Christmas night,
But this year Santa's comin' on a trike.
