CATS

  Cats are happy,
Can be fat,
Cats when scruffy,
Don't like that.

  Cats are friendly
Can be wild,
Cats aloof,
Sometimes mild.

  Cats efficient
and self serving,
Silent stalking
Quite unnerving.

  Although not native
to this land,
They do contribute
something grand.

  They love their owners
asking little,
soothing nerves
when nerves are brittle.

  We can learn
to quiet down
with cats who teach us
not to frown.

  We will learn
how more to give
and to relax,
that's how cats live.

  Cats are special
we know that,
God's purrfect creature
Is the cat.
