Begin each day with meditation;
In God all your fears confide.
His greatest forces come to greet us
When we lay the world aside.
We must keep our hearts attuned,
Though our souls are in repose.
Angels' wings drift very softly,
Like petals from a velvet rose.
Be aware of holy messengers,
Or you may fail to recognize
That often answers to our prayers
Arrive by angels in disguise.
After prayer, when fears have flown,
Do you remember unusual things
A celestial whisper in your ear,
Or the gentle caress of angels' wings ?
