Lesson Index for those who are just joining in

I downloaded some of the softer colored pearls or "dots" from this site. There are other, brighter colors, if you'd like them. The first 3 sizes (12, 15, & 19) are the best.
Dots, Dots, More Dots

Grab a pearl from here. Pearls

At Image Magic, make a transparent xc, size 320 x 300. Use none in the meta box for a transparent image.

For demonstration purposes, I used 2 different sizes. The # in the gif is the approximate size of the image. I used 15 &19.

Go to composite. Start on the left side using WEST +0+0. Comp the first pearl. I used plum19.

The next pearl is plum 15. SInce the size of the previous pearl was 19, change the gravity to +19+0. I like a little space between the pearls. If you want them closer together, change the +19 to +16.

The next pearl is 19. You need to add the width of the previous pearl (15) to 19 to equal 34. So your gravity would be +34 +0. If you choose to have them closer together, you will need to adjust these numbers as you go.

Here are the co-ordinates for the example at the top of the page - starting @ WEST:

(1)   +0+0
(2)   +19+0
(3)   +34+0
(4)   +53+0
(5)   +68+0
(6)   +87+10
(7)   +102 +13
(8)   +121+16
(9)   +136+16
(10) +155+19 <----Note - I think I oops on the last one - it looks like it's too far over, but the co-ord of +155 Is right.

Continue adding the pearls across, until you want another little curve. Then adjust your gravity as needed.

You can also add these right to your name tags, following the instructions.

Try changing colors using HUE at IM, too!
