1 pint vanilla ice cream - softened

1/2 stick (4 tbs) butter - softened

1/3 cup light brown sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

3 cups sparkling cider

Cream butter, sugar and spices together in large bowl. Add ice cream and refreeze mixture.

Heat cider until warm, but still carbonated (at least 3 minutes)

Fill each glass with ice cream mixture and pour warmed cider over ice cream.

It will foam like beer.
