Here are the codes for the above. The number assigned to scrollamount will control the speed of a marquee If you have music playing that will dictate the use of a higher scrollamount number. Because of the number of marquees on this single one stop viewing page they will appear to be moving too slow at times but if you use your arrow up or down key you'll see the whole effect at it's normal rate. Thanks for understanding.
The above is actually two marquees within one. Adjusting the width in each marquee is necessary.
I believe blink is a Netscape command and that browser doesn't see <marquee></marquee>. The only type of marquee that the Netscape browser sees is <blink>text goes here</blink> and that's it. I used the Alt plus the space bar to center the word . You can also center the blinking text by changing the scrollamount=movement to the right and changing scrolldelay=movement to the left.
Any word or words may be used.

Same codes as the above except I started with <center> and changed the percentage from 33% to 50%.

The below is two marquees that both start from the middle and one goes to the left and the other goes to the right.

The default diection is from the left. This marquee will enter from the right because of the align direction I used.
Here Are The Codes
This marquee will enter from the left but the text will be backwards becaused I used <direction=right>

You can also use a marquee as an anchor [hyperlink] like this. The key is to start with the anchor tag <a href="..."> and finish with the close </a>

There's a way to have a word or words blink in the beginning, middle or at the end of a sentence. JaxRed has a page here that will answer and demo the above.
OK that's it sports fans. A couple of things to remember. If you want the folks who use the Netscape browser to see a marquee that blinks then add <blink>text goes here </blink>. In fact you have use any other type of marquee other than one that blinks it might be a good idea ts say something like this on your web page. -- This site is best viewed with any other browser besides Netscape. etc etc etc.
You can also use scrollamount=X, where X equals a number to control the scrolling speed of a marquee but not with blink.
