Ceud Mile Failte! ... This old Gaelic expression is one of Scottish hospitality. It means One Hundred Thousand Welcomes and I can't think of a better way to greet you as a new day dawns here on the Gulf of Mexico.

"Where we love is home, home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts."Oliver Wendell Holmes
The sun slowly rises and spreads a warm golden glow all around me. A gentle breeze brushes my cheek and with it ... floating softly through the air from the kitchen radio, come the words of Rod Stewart ...
"The rhythm of my heart, is beating
like a drum, with the words I love
you rollin' off my tongue.
No matter where I roam, I know
my place is home, where the ocean
meets the sky I'll be sailin' ..."
I'm listening, thinking ... thinking about where I came from. As I close my eyes my mind begins to wander, and I find myself drifting ... Drifting back to Scotland ... His words have touched the heart of this expat. So my hope is that you will stay for a while ... travel back in time with me as A Celtic Heart Remembers.
Recently . . .
Recently, I've been thinking ...
So come ~
Come fly on wings of the dove with me ~
