Glen Etive, Highlands

Scotland

One of many remote and scenic glacial valleys found in this area. At the southern end is Loch Etive, where a narrow channel links it with Loch Linnhe and the Firth of Lorne. Coming in from the west lies the Sound of Mull whose tides and currents form the Falls of Lora. There are picturesque views west to Mull and east to the mass of Ben Cruachan. Glen Etive is a wonderful area to walk and climb and will satisfy the most ethusiastic rambler.
