  • Select "GIF" Format...Click the "Radio" Button.

  • Choose Your Desired Width and Height. I chose W550 and H60.

  • Choose Your Desired Color. For this example I chose Grey, but, I usually choose Black.

  • Click "Create New Image" Button. This will create a background for your Banner.

  • Click "Effects" Button.

  • Select "Text".

  • Type your text into the "Text Box"...I used all CAPS.

  • Your choice..."Font Size". I chose 30.

  • Your choice..."Type". I chose "Heavy".

  • Your choice..."Horizontal Alignment". I chose "Center".

  • Your choice..."Vertical Alignment". I chose "Center".

  • Your choice..."Italic".

  • Your choice..."Underline".

  • Your choice..."Font". I chose "Arial TUR".

  • Your choice..."Color".

  • Click "Write Text" Button.

  • Click "Effects" Button.

  • Select "Set Transparent".

  • Move Your Cursor so it Surrounds Your Banner.

  • Click your Banner.

  • Move the Arrow onto your banner BACKGROUND and Click.

  • To view your Banner as it will appear on a web page, click the Image URL.

  • Copy the Image URL into your Browser's memory.




  • Take the Image URL to GifWorks

  • Click the "File" Button.

  • Select "Open Image".

  • Delete these characters from the address box: http://

  • Paste the Image URL (that you saved in your browser's memory) into the empty address box.

  • Click the "Fetch Image" Button.

  • After you open the image at GifWorks, click the "Effects" Button.

  • YOUR CHOICE...Cloning Your Banner..This will give "Depth" to the characters in your Banner.

  • Select "Clone".






  • (NEXT PAGE)
  • Enter the amount of Pixels you desire, for your Cloned Banner. I chose 2 Pixels.
  • Click the "OK" Button.






  • (NEXT PAGE)
  • Result:

  • Select "Cylinder".

  • Save or transload the Image URL to your own files.

  • When coding your HTML with height and width attributes, you'll obtain a greater 3-D effect by shortening the width of your Banner. I shortened the width of the Banner above by coding 300 as my width attribute. The RESULT is shown below:
