I had been praying about that very thing, to have a renewed heart of Love and Compassion once again, and to reach out to others when in need.

Oh, I am always ready to help my Family and don't even give that a second thought. But when it came to strangers I would meet, I always looked the other way or would stand silently by!

I ask the Lord to place opportunities in my path, so I could be a Blessing to someone along My way! I really meant that from the sincerity of My heart!

So my journey began, and Precious Blessings have flowed, now I had a giving spirit again, as my heart filled with expectations!

I had gone to the Pharmacy to pick up some Prescriptions for My Mom. A couple was in front of me in line and their insurance wouldn't pay for all their Prescriptions like they usually did.

The lady was in a dilemma, they lived out of town and all the cash she had with her was not going to be enough to get the Prescriptions Her husband needed, and Her check book was at home.

The couple looked at one another with disappointment and the Spirit stirred my Heart and I knew an opportunity was waiting there just for me.

As they looked at the clerk with bewilderment in their eyes, and wondered what they were going to do, I spoke up and shared that I would cover the rest of the bill for them!

The shock on all their faces was a Blessing all by itself. The Lady Thanked Me and really didn't know what to say for she was still in dismay!

I looked into Her eyes and said God just wanted to Bless You this day Sweetie! She said with glee "Well He sure has done that, that's for sure!"

They left the store and I proceeded to pay for Moms Prescriptions, and the young clerk looked at Me, with amazement in Her eyes, and said that was sure nice of You to do that!

The twenty dollars that I gave couldn't have been spent on anything better that day. It had Blessed one of God's Children, and proved to them, that He is always there to help them in their time of need!

It also was a witness to the clerk that God's Love is still working through the lives of His people to Bless them all along their way!

As I left the Pharmacy that day my Heart was filled with God's Love and Peace, I was humble within My Heart, for I knew it wasn't me that gave in a time of need, but God giving to others through Me that day!

I have many stories that I could share where I was just standing there, when a urgent need would arise. My Prayer was answered and I still keep My Spirit open to detect the opportunities to Bless others along My Way!

It may not always be in a monetary way, sometimes it can be with the gift of a smile, or a greeting to make someone feel worthwhile! It doesn't matter what the giving consist of, as long as it is from our hearts!

So if You are like I had been and have shut the door of opportunity in Your life, I encourage You to open it wide, for many Blessings are awaiting You on the other side!

You don't have to worry about what to do, just be open to Gods Precious Spirit witnin your heart, as He tugs upon Your heart strings! Then just trust and obey!
