I also learned that not everybody will be my friend along my way, even though I would like to think they would be some day!

I have friends that I have had since childhood, and even though I don't see them often, when we talk or meet, there is that familiar feeling of closeness that we had shared as a child.

People come and go throughout our life time, some are here for a purpose to fulfill a need we have at that time and then fade away. I call that them my short term Friends. God sends Special Ones my way to meet a need that I have within my life, and when that need is fulfilled He moves them on.

I am sad when their job is done, but have to remind myself, that they were here for a purpose and I have to let them go! For He has others awaiting the Friendship and Encouragement that only they can show.

I have long term Friendships that will last a life time, Friends that are placed in My Heart, and it doesn't matter if years have passed by, when we communicate it seems just like yesterday since we had spoken to one another.

Then there are My Precious Friendships of the Heart. The chosen Friends that has been sent by My Father above to Bless me with His Mighty Love! Friends that are always there no matter what, and are close to my heart, just like my own family members are!

Friends that Touch My Heart with the Love of Our Lord, and lovingly Encourage me all along my way! We are connected by the Spirit of Our Lord and we can feel the bond that the Lord has placed between us in every day!

We can feel each others pain and hurt even without a word being said! We know deep within Our Spirits that a need is there, and lift each other up in Prayer!

We send e-mail, cards, and pages at just the right time, to minister to each other! Sometimes we don't even realize how the Lord is using us in an Awesome way, as we Bless each other throughout each day!

I am Blessed and count it a joy and privilege to minister to them through Our Friendship we have in Him! There are so many Blessings that are showered upon my life, through the Friends that He has chosen and given to me in my life!

I thank Him daily for the Friends that He has allowed to Bless my life with all through the years, but especially the ones that are the Friends of My Heart and Soul that I hold so Dear!
