Original The hardest part of this image was coming up with decent roses and leaves. I cropped some leaves off each of the roses and you shouldn't have too much trouble seeing what goes with what. More roses at the bottom of the page. Coolsigs A great place to find quotes and cute sayings. Here's my version, using this rose & leaves. Red Rose 1 Leaves Choose your font and "saying" or quote and head for IM. Make a 350x400 xc. Paint it #fefefe. Annotate your words, saying, or quote, so that it fills the whole space. You can type in some words, hit the enter key and type some more, just as you do when you are writing an email. That way you don't have to worry about spacing for the next line. Check how it looks, and then make adjustments if needed. You really don't have to worry too much about being able to actually read them. Refer to this for a visual. I used AfternoonDelight from Mercede's New Fonts, scripts, page 1 North +10-20 Point size= 50 Fill color= #808080 Go to enhance and use gamma 3.6 If your lines are too far apart, annotate again, North +10+15 or so. Enough to move the text down and fill in the spaces. Enhance again, Gamma 2.6 Resize to 326x372! Out and save as a jpg. Next, make an xc 180 x200, and paint it #fefefe. Go to decorate and add a border of 15 x 60, color = #e0e0e0. Note - you can make this a lighter grey if you want. Crop +0+30 ( ck the reset gravity box) Out and save as a jpg. CCP the url for the image you just made into your find bx, and CCP the url for the one that has your quote on it. Enter url, and go to composite. Comp the smaller image OVER, NorthEast +20+41 Out and save. Composite the leaves SouthEast +70+37 Composite the rose NorthWest +25+15 Rotate 45 Annotate your name in choice of color and font. Christmas Example Here are a few more roses and leaves to play with, in case you don't like the red one. Please be advised, some of these are tubes from Jasc (Corel, now).
