Hongs2Dings Charset Hongs2Dings TTF Hollie Bats Charset Hollie Bats TTF Black Marble Book Blank Optional Goodies for your book or Candle - These have transparent backs, good for compositing. Added 10-8-04 Spider 1 Spider 2 Spider 3 Spider 4 Spider web Note - the web is black Bat This puppy was giving me "agg-i-ta" till I figured it out! My very first STAR! I made the book blank, because it needed a line drawn down the center & it was just easier to do on the PC. Later, when we get into draw, you can give it a try. The font I used is called OpenBook from Mercedes Fonts. (Thank you, Nancy) It's on the Speciality Page I blacked out the letter, which you could easily do at IM by comping a small black jpg over it. OK - CCP the url for the marble bg into your find box. Grab the url for the book blank. At IM enter the book url first. Go to COMPOSITE Enter url for the bg Choose MULTIPLY Check the tile across & down box. Click composite. Output & save as a jpg. NEXT STEP CCP the url for the Holiie Bats into your find bx Snag the url for your book. At IM enter the book url. Go to ANNOTATE This is for the hat - letter d (lower case) Choose the size, and color for your hat. You are on your own for the placement - Remember the Annotate Exercise? Let's see How close you can get it to the one I did. If you did the exercise, you should have no problem. Once you have the hat to your satisfaction, go to annotate again. Choose a font for your name and write it on the left side about where mine appears. Output= jpg and save NEXT STEP CCP the url for the Hongs2Dings into your find bx CCP the url for your book (the 1 with your name etc on it). Enter the url and go to ANNOTATE This is for the paint brush - letter a (lower case) Choose your color and size and proceed with the placement. Try to position it so that it is right at the end of the last letter of your name. Optional - add a border at the top of 60 or so pixels and write a slogan. Happy Halloween, etc. Example The stars I added on the PC from a tube. I tried to convert them to a gif for you to use, but alas, no joy! So if anyone would like the stars added, just let me know and I will be happy to do them. ALTERNATIVE METHOD If you want to use a bg on the hat and paintbrush, you will need to make each one on a seperate transparent gif. Remember the BOW? To make sure that you get the right size, do a practice annotation on the book, and make note of the size of the font that looks best. Once you have the size determined, make your hat and paintbrush on the transparent gif. Refer to the Wreath Lesson for composite instructions. Be sure to triim them, before you output. Save as a gif. Then composite the images over your book, just like you did the bow. |
