Arbor IM Quick & Easy - Using Displace and Emboss This is a variation on comping gifs using displace. The addition of emboss gives it a little extra punch & nice shadowing. It can be done in one trip to IM. You can use any gif or png with a transparent bg. I used these flowers . So, ccp the flower url. At IM make a gradient, 400x400 (for this flower - adjust as needed for other gifs), meta = white-grey60 Note - I tried several different colors with white for the gradient. I settled on grey, because colors are inhanced by emboss, and can overpower the image. If you use a different color, try gamma 3.6 to tone it down, before you emboss. Composite the flowers - center +0+0 - DISPLACE. Composite again - center +20+20 - DISPLACE. Emboss = 3x5 Composite flowers - center +30+30 - OVER ( you can also try screen, overlay, modulate and multiply, depending on the gif and the look you want.) SHAVE (under transform) 35x20 If you want to draw the frame on this one, here are the parameters. You will need to adjust them for other images.
