Image Magic Also FYI - before anyone gets their knickers in a bunch, that I copied this from someone else, I have been using and teaching this technique for almost 2 years. Drop Shadows at IM Copy the Font into find bx, and ccp the url for the Mittens . At IM make an xc - 320x200, meta = #FEFEFE. For those who didn't see Sally's posted info, IM now accepts hex numbers. Just be sure you use the # sign or it won't work. Annotate name - Make adjustments as needed for length of name. Use scale to lengthen short names. Change just the first set of numbers to 1.5, see how it looks. Go up or down from there. Center - Color= #9C9CCE, fill and stroke. Point size - 65 Comp the mittens DSTOUT. Center +0+45 (adjust as needed for name) Paint the cutout area, #9C9CCE, replace. NOTE - it is extremely hard to see the small areas to be painted, but if you let your eyes focus for a bit, you should be able to see them. Effects = Gaussian Blur @ 2x2 Repeat the annotation, changing the offset to +2+2. Everything else stays the same. Repeat the comp, changing the offset to +2+47 and the composite to OVER. Trim and output as a jpg. Have FUN!
