This candle is done entirely with draw, dingbats & rbg colors & transparency . You can choose your own dings if you wish, but if you want to do the one above, these are the two I used.
Christmas Reg Xmas Tyme Refer to this tutorial for more info on using rgb colors at IM. NOTE - Type or CCP the colors EXACTLY or they won't work. Dec. 1 - I made an oops in the first ellipse - I had the colors reversed - Sorry for any confusion. It's fixed and should not give ya anymore fits! At IM make a 300x300 black xc. Draw: Rectangle +100+80 +200+230 FIll Color = white (no stroke) Draw: Ellipse +150+80 +50+10 +0 +360 FIll Color = black Stroke color= white - size 2 Draw: Ellipse +150+230 +50+10 +0+180 Fill Color = white (no stroke) Output and save as a jpg for future use. CCP the url for Xmas Tyme dingbat into find bx. CCP url for candle blank. At IM make a 300x300 gradient Meta = rgba(160,160,255,.50)-rgba(140,140,255,.50) Composite the candle blank - multiply. Annotate the deer: Letter g ( lower case) Center +0+15 Point size = 135 Fill color = rgba(250,255,255,.40) Anno again @ +2+17 Fill color = rgba(100,100,255,.60) Anno again - change to letter s ( lower case) Center -50+75 Rotate = -40 (negative 40) Point size = 90 FIll color = rgba(100,100, 255,.60) Anno again. Center = +50+80 Rotate 80 Point size= 90 FIll color = rgba(200,100, 150,.60) Anno again. Change font url to Christmas Reg Letter Cap A Center +0+95 Point size = 110 Fill color = rgba(255,255,255,.60) Go to transform - shave 30x20 Then crop +0+25 Out and save as jpg.
