 Framey Thingys

We have played with these before, and this is just a little different way to frame a picture.

Choose your frame from Susan's Framey Thingys. For the first one, try to pick one that has all straight edges, to avoid the jaggies.

At IM, enter the url, and go to ENHANCE. Choose NEGATE.

Scroll to paint function.

Choose MATTE, REPLACE, fuzz=25,000. Point & click in the black area.

Output as a GIF & save.

Choose your image, and resize it to 370x370! to fit the frame. Save.

Back at IM, enter frame url first, then comp the image using ATOP.

Output as a gif. CCP temp url.

Click the VIEW tab at top of page.

Scroll to paint - RESET, COLOR, color=your choice.

Comp temp url over.

Decorate - border 20x20. Resize and finish as you wish.

 Example 1  Result

SInce we are creating a mask with this one, you can choose anything you like.

Repeat the first 2 steps - negate and matte out the black areas.

Go to EFFECTS - gaussian blur at 10x10. It should look something like this: Example 2

Output as a gif & CCP the temp url. Click view tab.

COLOR, RESET color=black.

Comp the temp url over.

Output & save as a jpg.

Resize your image to fit.

Back at IM - enter frame url first & comp image using MULTIPLY.

Finish as you wish. See Example at top of page.
