More Background Magic

Flower Photos <-- Lurkers -DO NOT post this index ANYWHERE! Post _this_ page! I was working on  Flo's New Tute , and I got sidetracked (not unusual) & started playing with resizing and cropping one of the flower photos. I got some wonderful results. So the purpose of this exercise is to show how to make stunning backgrounds from any photo, by simply cropping and resizing. What you can do with the finished bg is up to your imagination! NOTE - these backgrounds are not meant to tile seamlessly. So make it big enough to cover your finished project. My Original 1 Cropped down to just the center of the flower. Flower Center Resized, cropped and resized, again. Resized Gorgeous, eh? FIlled a name with it. Filled Name My  Original 2  After cropping and resizing several times. Hollyhock Bg I used a silhouette from page 3 of  MsM's Dings , & two of Sandy's excellent draw tutes, the Round Rectangle and Corner Line Draw, to finish it off. The draw tutes can be found here.
