So here was this  cute little hat  that Sherry posted in her country group. TY Sherry! It needed a place to hang! I started out trying to make a face, but ended up with Mrs Egg Head! <<>g>

Instructions follow for how I did mine, but please have fun with this. Once you have the oval drawn, make up your own face, rotate the hat to suit you, etc.

Make a 450x450 xc, meta=none. On the paint page, choose reset, color and type your bg color in the color box. NOTE - you can make your bg any color, but _do_ color the blank. Drawing on transparent bgs usually makes jaggies! Ick, ick!!

Go to draw. Choose ellipse

coordinates= +225+225, +100,+150 +0+360

Use just a fill color - mine is #c6b5a4

Other great flesh tones can be found here: Color Chart

Next go to annotate.

Choose the letter you want for your eye. I used lower case w. If you look at the 2 charsets, it seems like the lower case is the right eye, and the upper case is the left eye. But when I tried to use wW, they came out cockeyed. No pun intended. ~lol

Ok, so using the letter w - these are the coordinates. If you use a different eye, you'll need to play with these numbers.

North +55+205 <-- right eye

Point size = 85

FIll color = #332200 <-- brown

Note - you can find blues and greens on the color chart above.

Go to Transform - flop the image.

Back to annotate and change JUST the coordinates to: North -55+205 <-- left eye

Go to composite.

Composite the hat @ North -20+10

Rotate -20

Go to transform and crop -0-170

Go to decorate and add a border 0x100 in the same color as your bg.

Annotate your name - South +0+50 <-- approximate, depending on font chosen.

I used stilleto from   Nancy's  - Thick fonts, page 3.

Trim, output and save as a jpg.

Have FUN!
