While I was working on a fairy challenge from Sir Moon, I did an "oops" that I thought might be fun to add to our imaging "bag of tricks".
I wanted to use gaussian blur, & just before that, I'd done something under effects, with the blue channel ( can't remember what _that was). I forgot to change the channel back to default, before I hit the GB effect. The result was a surprise in that it didn't blur the pic in the normal way. In fact it didn't look very blurred at all. But then I noticed that the blues were more evident. So I experimented with some different images, & made a few examples to show. NOTE - I don't know if this has been written up before, & I have no intention of going through 100's of tutorials to see. I don't remember seeing one, but if you have a similar tute, send it to me and I'll do the right thing. Here are the orginals & examples with the settings that I used. GB=Gaussian Blur. C=channel For those unfamiliar with using channel, it is located just below the "effect" button, under Optional Effects Attributes
