Deco Draw - With Lines

Redux Arbor This one is easy, but takes a little time. I recommend you output and save after the first series of draw, just in case IM glitches. That way you won't lose all your work. Make a 300x300 white (or black, if you prefer) xc. We are going to draw a zig-zag across the top of the blank. Go to draw and choose LINE. Stroke color = your choice (I used black) Size = 2 No fill color Co-ordinates - click draw button after each set: (1) +0+50 +50+10 (2) +50+10 +100+50 (3) +100+50 +150+10 (4) +150+10 +200+50 (5) +200+50 +250+10 (6) +250+10 +300+50 Can you see the pattern above? Transform - FLIP the image. Repeat all of the above co-ordinates. Once done with the zig-zag, go to draw again to make the long lines on either side. Change just the co-ordinates: +10+10 +10+290 +25+20 +25+280 +275+20 +275+280 +290+10 +290+290 Once the frame is done, save it!!! Annotate with a dingbat , or composite a png or gif of choice. You can also make a mask out of it, by painting the white area black, above and below the zig-zag. Composite an image using multiply. Example Have fun! ŠApril 10, 2006 Club Choco Tutes |
