............................NOW TO THE COLLECTION............. NAVAHO SQUASH-BLOSSOM NECKLACE

This item was purchased in the 1950s in New
Mexico by a wealthy Radio Broadcasting Tycoon
from Chicago, while vacationing in TAOS. The
workmanship is excellent. It measures 30in.
long,is strung on a sterling chain and weighs
1 lbs. The magnificent aqua Turquoise
stones are quite large. They range in size
from 3 1/4cen. to 1 3/4cen. There is a
gray-brown marbeling on the stones. I believe
this piece to be meant for a man to wear
because of its weight and size. Although it is not signed by the artist it is a hand made Squashblossom of the most beautiful Navaho tradition...It was appraised in 1978 at an American Indian Jewelry Show in Chicago for $2300.00 ...It has appreciated somewhat.In June of 2007 one like it appeared on the 2ç U.S.A. postage stamp. ....................price....$2500.00 **********************************************************

NEXT AN AMBER BROOCHE LOOK---LOOK--LOOK--LOOK--LOOK--LOOK THIS STERLING SILVER 1 5/8 Dia..Piece is marked DENMARK.-sterling,IT'S LOVELY . The silver is a little patinaed.It could be polished to shine like new but I prefer the antique look myself. The amber is a lovely ,almost clear with some streaking of matter captured within it, in a cabashon setting ....................................$95.00

1920s HAT CLIP

THIS PIECE I INHERITED FROM MY AUNT
EDIE . SHE WORE IT ON HER FURS AT TIMES AND ON HER HATS AT OTHER TIMES OR SO I AM TOLD. THE FAUX RUBIES ARE EXQUISITE.

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ GORGIOUS- EXQUISITE- WONDERFUL-WOW THIS IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CLIP I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!! IF THESE WERE REAL STONES IT WOULD BE WORTH A MILLION BUCKS. It measures 2 7/8"across. It was gold wash over cadmium but most of the gold is gone now.All of its stones are in tact. There are 11 emerald cut faux RUBIES that L@@K real. It has two 2"SPRING MOUNTED HATPIN-PRONGS on the back to hold it on the hat.This piece was made in the 1920s and was a knockout on a flappers chapeau. It's expensive,but its worth every dollar..GORGIOUS- ...................................300.00
